About Kirsten

Kirsten Davin OTD, OTR/L is an Assistant Clinical Professor and the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for Baylor University’s Occupational Therapy Doctorate program. She has 20 years of expertise in acute care, wheelchair seating/positioning, assistive technology, splinting and orthotics and mental health. She’s had a distinguished career developing on-site and web-based continuing education programs on a national basis, and her research interests include hybrid classroom design and the provision of clinical education. She also holds advanced certifications as a Seating and Mobility Specialist (SMS) and an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) via the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA).
