I am a Bilingual licensed professional counselor whose interests include families and individuals affected by trauma, incarceration and human trafficking.

I am owner and director of C2 Counseling, LLC, a Christ-centered agency that offers biblical insight if the client chooses. Counseling sessions are offered in Spanish and English for individuals, couples, and families with children ages 5+ to adults. We work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues; providing services that span from therapy for depression and grief counseling to parenting support, couples counseling and beyond. In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, we offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of our clients' individual needs to help them attain their own personal growth.

I received my Ph.D. in Counselor Education from Texas A & M University, Corpus Christi in 2006. I have thirty years experience in public schools and higher education with specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), levels 1 and 2 of Gottman Method Couple's Therapy, the Nurturing Parenting Program, Rainbow Days' Faith Connection for children and youth development, Rainbow Days' Strengthening Families Program for parents and youth, and lastly, Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program (PREP).

As a therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While I can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
