About me
I am a licensed clinical social worker in private practice, and I specialize in listening to you so you can listen to your own inner wisdom. Topics include healing from suicide losses, truama and abuse, and lived experiences with mental illness.
I work with a variety of topics ranging from grief and loss to attachment truamas and disorders from childhood to learning how to practice mindfulness and boundaries on a daily basis. My treatment approach is more in connecting with clients, learning about what they need, how they think, and what they want for themselves. I called my business Heart of the Phoenix, because I experienced powerful life long changes by having to experience sufferening and subsequent suicdes. My loved ones deaths impacted me deeply and profoundly. I know I cannot change those experiences but I can walk with someone while they re-examine thier own post trauma and start to rebuild themselves. There can be a lot of influence on our being where people tell us how and who to be. My goal is to ask questions, listen, reflect, and respond instead of react.
