About me
My name is Victoria, I am a Latina post doctoral psychologist that provides trauma informed care using a multicultural and psychodynamic framework. I work with individuals who would like to address trauma, life transitions, bi/multicultural identity, interpersonal difficulties, IPV and sexual abuse. My clinical approach is relational, collaborative, and non judgemental, so that we can learn, grow and give together.
There are different parts of us that are hidden from others, wounded, and eager to be validated. I acknowledge, aim to understand, and work towards healing those parts. Opening up can be liberating and help us move forward but that doesn’t mean there won’t first be sadness as we say it aloud in another person’s presence. I offer a safe and empathetic space for my clients to be authentic and vulnerable, with the goal to practice healthy boundaries, relationships and behaviors outside of therapy. I will strive to help you heal and find the small joys (or joyful moments) in life.
