Areas of focus include working with individuals to address addiction, depression, stress, anger, anxiety, PTSD, and family or interpersonal relationship concerns. In working with clients, I will utilize a holistic approach by applying creativity during the therapeutic process while exploring attainable goals. Utilizing a person-centered approach, I empower my clients to develop self-motivation, increase self-esteem, cultivate self-awareness and create changes necessary to modify or remodel their life.
My mission is to assist each individual client to uncover their true potential and lead a life that is purposeful. While change is difficult to achieve and situations of the past are challenging to overcome, I am committed to providing clients with a secure space to resolve and restore emotional health. I earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the College of Staten Island; a Master of Science in Counseling with a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Mental Health from Alfred University. I hold a certification as a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor; and I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.
