About me
I am a licensed professional counselor dedicated to becoming the best version of myself possible, helping as many as possible by sharing strategies I've learned along the way.
My name is Trish. I've been working in and about the world of mental health in such settings as Out Patient, Acute In-Patient, Residential In-Patient, In-Home Foster Therapist, and Crisis Response, working with clients from birth to end-of-life. My training and experience include Music Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, Play Therapy, EMDR, EFT/TFT, Body-Centered Psychotherapy, Splankna, and various traditional modalities including Solution Focused, Gestalt, REBT, DBT, Person-centered, Existential, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. My passions are helping folk deal with past/present traumatic events, helping folk identify being and effectively live on the Autism Spectrum, Life's Transitions, as well as various aspects of Depression, Anxieties, and Mood challenges by sharing skills and information I've learned along the way. Among my mantras are "It has been what it has been. It is and will become what we make of it", "All behavior has a purpose", and "Change is a Process, not an Event".
