I get involved with my clients. I gather information so I understand what work needs to be done. We work together to make the necessary improvements. I think creatively and offer lots of options from several theories so we can find what works for you. I will create a well-rounded session interweaving whatever theories are applicable. I often use EMDR as a foundational method to address distressing symptoms and create structure in session. We want to lower your level of distress. EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) are beneficial therapies for trauma symptoms & other distressing symptoms. These symptoms often require more in-depth understanding and work. EMDR can reduce distress so you can engage in therapy more effectively. Online doesn't interfere with this process. I will verify and check your insurance benefits for you. You will agree to any copays before we schedule so you can make an informed choice. I will send claims in promptly. Copays are due at time of session.
