That’s why I begin therapy by teaching clients research supported, evidence-based, clinically proven coping skills that will help you experience relief right away. While I tailor my approach to each client, I often work from a perspective that combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Mindfulness, which are two of the leading treatment techniques in the field of anxiety. Soon, you’ll notice a shift inside of you…instead of your thoughts and worries feeling like they are controlling and taking you hostage, you’ll be able to simply let them pass by you, while you remain grounded and centered.
I suffered from anxiety for years, and know first hand how it can wreck your life. I know how exhausting the present can be, and how bleak the future can look. I experienced healing through counseling, and made it my life’s work to help others who are struggling as well. When I’m with my clients, I value unconditional positive support, acceptance, openness, and being a judgment free therapist. I love to show up for clients with a sense of curiosity, compassion, and connection. I’m a husband and father. I love trying out new restaurants with the family, going on walks with my dog, drinking coffee, and watching soccer games.
