About me
I believe that you are already the expert when it comes to your life and experiences, and my goal is to work collaboratively to help you unlock your full potential. Having the chance to talk and be heard in a validating, non-judgmental atmosphere can lead you to break out of negative patterns, gain insight, and arrive at valuable new perspectives. My areas of focus include but are not limited to adjustment issues, trauma, anxiety, and depression.
I am a certified trauma professional, and my approach includes person-centered, mindfulness, solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and narrative techniques. I speak Spanish and have experience providing therapy to Latin American migrants and refugees. I also conduct immigration evaluations for hardship, asylum, and other immigration-based visa cases.
I strive to be inclusive, accommodating, and open to client feedback. You have already taken a brave first step toward your goals by seeking therapy, and finding the right therapist is important. If you think we may be a good fit, please feel free to reach out by phone or email with any questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you.
