About me
I am a dedicated, empathetic, and culturally sensitive Provisional Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I have over 15 years' experience in helping individuals and families with facing and changing difficult life's challenges; and I now help overcome substance abuse and behavioral addictions. I believe in a holistic approach to treatment, focusing not only on the addiction itself but also on the underlying causes and the overall well-being of my clients. I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their struggles, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and work towards a sustainable recovery. Together, we can navigate the path to recovery and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.
I have over 15 years of experience helping individuals in crisis, including adults, children, teens, and families. I'm currently pursuing additional Post-Master Certification in Childhood and Adolescent Disorders Counseling. I work with clients who are struggling with addictions, alcohol use, and making those life-long behavioral changes. I provide evidence-based treatment planning as I help and strive to change this together with the client those addictive and behavioral problematic patterns, while cultivating coping strategies, enhancing relationships, and empowering individuals for a healthier lifestyle change. In my practice, I utilize the following treatment types: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, 12-Step Facilitation Therapy (Adult and/or Teen), Family Therapies, Group Therapies, Spiritual Direction, and Pastoral Counseling. In our first meeting, we'll explore the best ways that will you to achieve your goals. I understand that struggling with addiction can feel overwhelming and isolating, but you don't have to face this alone. I want to help individuals navigate these challenges and find a path towards recovery. My counseling services provide a safe, supportive space where you can share your experiences and feelings without judgment; please don't hesitate to call.
