I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been providing Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted Learning services since 1999 . I work with adults who are interested in healing from trauma, grief, life changes, depression and anxiety as well as releasing patterns that no longer serve you. Equine Assisted Learning can also pair quite well with "talk" therapy and help you to jumpstart or augment your work with your regular therapist.

Your healing journey with horses is a special experience. It is more than sitting in an office talking. It is a whole body experience where you have the opportunity to develop a close relationship with trained, experienced therapy horses, who have an incredible ability to foster the connection to support your healing and personal growth. Through mutually beneficial interactions, my horses and I work together with you to learn new skills, manage anxiety and heal from trauma, grief, or depression, and release what no longer serves you. My horses have been working alongside of me for 12-20 years , depending on the horse. Together, we offer a compassionate alternative to traditional “talk” therapy, that is based in brain science and researched techniques, along with intuition and creativity. All sessions are in-person and take place in a beautiful farm setting. No riding is involved and no horse experience is necessary. I always offer a free farm tour for potential clients, so you can see the facility, meet some of the horses and see if this would be a good fit for you. Feel free to contact me to arrange a tour!
