Irimiya Trauma Therapy, Inc. is group practice specializing in adult survivors of childhood abuse. We are located in the beautiful city of Ventura, CA. We offer both online and in office sessions.
Unresolved childhood abuse, can leave you feeling overwhelmed, not fully present, living with intrusive thoughts and memories of past trauma, struggling with everyday tasks, dealing with depression, anxiety and PTSD. As trauma-focused therapists we believe you have the courage to heal from emotional pain by facing it, rather than avoiding it. Together in therapy, we will work to achieve empowerment, safety and strength, in order to better concentrate, have healthy relationships, to have clarity, and achieve internal growth.
Additionally to working with childhood trauma, Irimiya provides a unique specialization in working with adults impacted by sexual trauma, childhood sexual abuse, sexual assault, dissociatiive disorders, and DID. We work closely with C-PTSD, trauma, flashbacks, nightmares, body memories, dissociation, anxiety and depression.
Each therapist offers a humanistic and holistic approach taylored to each client's needs. Our therapists provide EMDR, Somatic Techniques, CBT and Talk Therapy, focusing on internal healing, growth and fulfillment. Our work with you will build from developing and maintaining a healthy therapeutic relationship, believing we are both equal.
