About me
My counseling practice focuses on healing the mind, body, and spirit. I am open-minded and offer compassion, empathy, and optimism to help you heal. I am a Resident in Counseling specializing in Grief and Loss/Bereavement, Men's issues, and Couples Therapy. I am an advocate and ally for the LGBTQIA+ community.
I am pursuing a Licensed Professional Counselor ( LPC) designation in the Commonwealth of Virginia. I practice all treatment modalities, especially Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance, and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based CBT, and Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy. I also focus on chronic illnesses, including diabetes, amputation, and heart disease, that disrupt daily functioning and cause anxiety and depression. I am a certified facilitator for couples counseling. I look forward to supporting you with your mental health care needs.
