About me
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker and psychotherapist in New York. I work with people experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, career burnout or change, adjustments to parenthood, and other concerns.
My clients may be struggling with life transitions, balancing competing concerns in and out of the home, and dealing with “bad brain days.” Some need a nonjudgmental and affirming space. Some need help uncovering what their true beliefs, values, and preferences are. Some need coping skills and techniques for handling mental health challenges. All are hoping to make long-lasting progress.
I draw from a number of modalities in my practice, including motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and others. I find it best to adjust my approach to each client. My practice is strengths-based, culturally sensitive, anti-oppressive, anti-racist, LGBTQIA+ friendly, and trauma-informed.
What would your life look like if you felt content and at peace? What would it take to get you there? I believe you are the expert in your own life. I believe we are all influenced by our families, workplaces, and communities. My goal is that our work together leads you to a steady state in which you are secure and at ease as your authentic self.
