Hello, my name is Tamara, I am a mental health therapist and addiction specialist that specializes in working with adult clients that struggle with issues such as perfectionism, anxiety, self doubt, stress, and burn-out

I work with clients that find themselves feeling tired, stressed out, overwhelmed with work, unable to focus, or often feel they need a break. I provide therapy in an educational way that is centered around each individual's experience.
Therapy is a collaborative effort and together we can work on your treatment needs. I look forward to exploring your goals, providing and increasing your motivation to succeed while being the advocate, you need to live the life you envision for yourself. I believe that you are never too young or old to live life the way you desire.
My therapeutic style is psychoeducational. Due to my belief in person centered therapy and treatment, I do not believe in a one size fits all approach to therapy. I often use Cognitive Behavioral styles in assisting clients to link their thoughts, feelings, and actions together. I also am an advocate for Brief Solution Focused Therapy, to help address the issues that are problematic now and hindering your approach at life. I also recognize the benefit and approach of Motivational Interviewing in encouraging change and motivating the belief the client can and will be successful in their new learned behaviors .
