Deciding to pursue therapy is not an easy decision. It can be hard work, and emotionally draining. It can seem like there’s no light at the end of the tunnel, and even if there is a small spark of light, it’s miles and miles away. But if you’re struggling with anything in life — from work stress to family relationships, childhood trauma or shame, diagnosed mood disorders, addictions of any kind — you owe it to yourself to try and move toward that light. Empathetic and authentic, but also tough, I bring my very best to each session we share. I firmly believe that we all have the innate strength to overcome life’s obstacles. Sometimes that strength just needs a little guidance to be teased out. My stance is holistic, the approach steeped in mindfulness, narrative, nutrition, movement, CBT/DBT/REBT and Solution-Focused therapy.
