With 27 years of experience, I specialize in working with those struggling with grief, depression, anxiety or relationship issues. For those who are interested I provide spiritually integrated psychotherapy. I work with adults and provide individual and marital counseling.

It is miserable to feel stuck. Stuck in the past, stuck in moving forward, stuck in depression or anxiety. We all want to feel a sense of purpose, and that we can live fully in the present and have a vision for the future, no matter our circumstances. There are a number of things that can make us feel stuck, such as unresolved grief, regrets, shame, broken relationships, and a fear of failure. In a paradoxical way, depression and anxiety can act to protect us from being in touch with parts of ourselves that feel too overwhelming to explore, but that need to be heard in order for us to heal and find new energy and direction.
I often use the Internal Family Systems model, which helps individuals gain insight into and find healing integration of their protective and wounded inner parts by accessing and empowering their Core Self. In addition, I have specialized training in grief counseling, marriage counseling and spiritually integrated psychotherapy.
