About me
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for over 25 years. I work with adults dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. In addition, I see couples dealing with relational difficulties including problems with communication, infidelity, empty nest, and loss of intimacy.
In my practice, I see primarily adults and couples struggling with a variety of issues including childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, chronic illness, and retirement, as well as relational difficulties such as lack of communication, infidelity, "empty nest" syndrome, and loss of intimacy. I believe that our early experiences in our families of origin creates patterns of relating that can get in the way of healthy connection as we get older. Because I have been in practice for over 25 years, I often see clients intermittently through their lifespan (much like a family practitioner), where clients can return at times of need and not have to "start over" with their life story. I am also trained in EMDR for the treatment of trauma.
