About me
I am an experienced licensed social worker with over 25 years' experience working with a wide range of ages from 3-90 years of age. My philosophy is allow for a safe space for your mind and body to land in order to facilitate your own level of healing, recovery and self-acceptance.
I have worked in a variety of environments from inpatient psychiatric hospital to residential and school based, as well as private practice. I have an eclectic approach and pull from a variety of disciplines such as CBT, psychodrama, trauma centered, play as well as others. I especially enjoy and thrive in my work with children and adolescents and welcome the opportunity to be a safe space for them and parents to be able to process and be able to find methods of working and loving together. I am an ally to the LGBQT+ community and have extensive training in supporting and being culturally sensitive to these specific needs. I came to practicing with the idea that I "love em all," when I was in my internship and still practice this philosophy to this day.
