About me
Experienced in addiction and trauma healing with 25 years of working with others who struggle with challenges relating to depression, anxiety and panic, grief and many other types of adjustments. I worked in hospice and acute care on an inpatient hospital unit as well as with youth providing care for outpatient groups, family, and individual sessions.
I use a client centered approach to meet you where you are using cognitive and dialectic behavioral therapies along with treatment approaches for trauma and self harm to address underlying issues of self esteem to help bring you into a state of acceptance. I can help you on your journey using tools and approaches that are proven to bring results based on what you are comfortable with. I have a Bachelor's in Psychology with a Criminal Justice minor so I have an understanding of the criminal justice system along with the challenges involved with being on probation/parole and the court process. I can provide in person and virtual sessions. I work primarily with individuals over the age of 13 and with family or couples. I am a big advocate for change starting with self and I believe that if the world is to change it must start with me. I consider myself Christian and I love crystals and drinking tea. CBT/DBT is my preferred practice. I wish you nothing but the best as you continue your journey.
