I am a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals with the challenges of life, especially in regards to death, loss and grief.
Born and raised in Central Illinois, I went back to school in my 40s to become a counselor – earning my master's in Human Development Counseling from the University of Illinois in Springfield in December of 2017. Since graduation I have worked with people who have been diagnosed with a serious illness and the family and friends who support them. From these clients I have learned the power of resiliency and hope. They have inspired me to want to serve more people – helping others find freedom from whatever restrictions they find in their lives.
