About me
Therapy is an invitation to explore past and present experiences in a safe and supportive environment; an opportunity to gain insight into what drives your thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. I believe in the power of therapy to navigate challenging times and learn new strategies to help us reach our potential. I see my clients as the expert in their own lives and therapy as a chance to reconnect with their inner resources, and what gives them purpose and meaning.
My approach to therapy is eclectic. I integrate processing of earlier life experiences, cognitive-behavioral therapy, somatic awareness, non-violent communication, humor, creative arts and nature as a metaphor, depending on my clients' needs and goals for therapy.
Finding a counselor who is a good fit for you is important, and I wish you the best in this process. If you are interested in exploring my approach, please reach out.
