Sara D Edwards, LPC, PhD ABD
Licensed Professional Counselor
I have been practicing as a psychotherapist for over 30 years with a unique eclectic interactional approach that offers diverse therapeutic interventions that are selected as they pertain to the needs of the individual or group with a core focus on interpersonal insight ,change, and development. Specific psychological issues treated include anxiety, depression, relationship issues ( including couples and family therapy), and cognitive / emotional challenges related to trauma and PTSD.
I am a psychotherapist trained in clinical psychology at Duke University and the UW Madison Health Department of Psychiatry.
Individual, family and group therapy focuses on intrapersonal development and how past relationship history influences current relationship satisfaction with others and yourself. Interactional focus is used as a tool to enhance relationships and to develop self awareness, mindfulness and an enhanced sense of well-being.
