About me
My mission is to provide exceptional treatment for trauma and stress-related disorders with subspecialties in dissociation, chronic pain/illness, substance use, and parenting.
Mental health recovery is hard work, so I believe it's essential to develop a strong relationship and teamwork. From me, you can expect structure, gentle challenges, and humor. These help to strengthen commitment to the process, and to provide a foundation to help you through the rough moments. Because in the end, the grind and the tears can totally pay off.
My primary models are Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), parts work, and developmental psychotherapy. When combined, these methods help us to reclaim our identity, master our emotions and thoughts, and go forward feeling truly changed. I will not just "smile and nod" at you; we will develop your ideal treatment plan and work every session toward becoming your best self.
