About me

I am a clinical social worker who wants to help create the change you are looking for in your life.

Hi! I am a queer licensed clinical social worker and a human. I’d love to work with you!

I highlight those identity markers because it highlights that I am first and foremost accepting of you and your experience. As a social worker, my work focuses on exploring our strengths and challenges with equal amounts of self compassion and (a desire to learn?). As a queer individual, I am so aware of the struggle that We go through to figure out who we are and allow ourselves to live that life out loud. I mention my humanness because it’s the thing that connects us to one another. It’s a shared experience that is ridiculously difficult and can be wildly fulfilling.

I would be honored to join you at any stage of your healing and exploring journey. Sessions with me can span from doing guided imagery of your inner child to exploring your most significant attachments. I love teaching and individualizing regulation skills, hearing about the latest gossip in your friend group, and doing (structured and safe) deep dives into how your past traumas have affected you and your current functioning.

If that didn’t convince you to reach out for a consultation, here are my qualifications! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Susquehanna University and a Master’s of Social Services (aka social work) from Bryn Mawr College. I have spent my career working in family’s homes doing intensive structural family therapy and also working with all ages in schools as a counselor/social worker. The therapeutic models that inform my practice are trauma informed relational theory and Internal Family Systems. I have been focusing on working with traumatized individuals with a particular interest in CPTSD as well as working with LGTBQIA+ folks in exploring gender and sexuality with a focus of regulation skills when living in an unjust world.

Therapy can be a scary, unknown, and vulnerable. Let’s take it one step at a time and see where you want to go. I am here to walk beside you while you learn how amazing you are.
