I am a clinical counselor with experience in treating individuals with depression, anxiety, grief, anger, trauma, relationship issues and life transitions. I believe in teaching my clients the importance of improving their overall wellness by gaining insight into their symptoms, triggers, stressors, trauma, and developing healthy coping strategies to improve their overall wellness and mental health. It can be overwhelming managing one's emotions and thoughts when experiencing a difficult time or traumatic event and either feeling stuck, alone, disconnected, and hopeless with minimal support. Counseling can benefit by helping one process unresolved conflict, trauma or stressors in a safe and non-judgmental environment while empowering oneself. I offer individual counseling sessions and work collaboratively with my clients in developing treatment goals to fit their needs. I am trained in a variety of counseling techniques and treatment models including Cognitive Behavioral, Strengths-Based and Solution Focused.
