About me
I'm Dr. Samuel Girguis and I am a licensed clinical psychologist who can help you or your loved one overcome the difficulties you are facing today. I have worked with a wide range of issues and have specialized in the treatment of trauma and abuse across the lifespan. My work with children, adolescents, adults, and families is tailored to your individual needs. I understand that individuals and families today have many demands upon their time and resources; my goal is to work with you and help you to thrive in the midst of your busy life.
I graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a Master of Arts in Theology. I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, specializing in the treatment of trauma. I am currently the Director of the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University where I am training future psychologists to help others overcome their challenges. My private practice is located in Pasadena and I am currently seeing clients in-person, online (telepsychology), and in the field.
