Saliha Kozan

I am an international psychologist licensed in Massachusetts and California, United States. I provide psychotherapy for adults through a HIPPA-compliant tele-health platform. I’ve an integrative approach to therapy that blends methods from various therapy models that are trauma-informed and scientifically proven to be effective. Tailoring my interventions to your unique needs and goals, I’ll work with you to help you create the life you deserve!

As an immigrant and bilingual psychologist who lived and worked in three continents, I consider the impact of social and cultural factors on well-being, and I have a passion for increasing access to mental health services among culturally diverse communities. I consider how your context such as your family background; cultural values, beliefs, and worldviews; and identity-based trauma might influence your life. In our sessions, I’ll intentionally make space for you to have conversations about how these relate to your mental health and overall well-being.

I’ll meet you where you’re today and provide you tools to help you understand yourself and discover your inner strengths. Together, we’ll identify the patterns that are holding you back and we’ll transform your relationship with yourself and others. We’ll work together to help you heal from the wounds of any type of trauma you might be carrying and become whole again. As we move forward, we’ll also explore how you can use your strengths to get involved in social action for long-lasting change for you and your community.
