I believe the healing journey can be an empowering, and I believe in the human propensity and capacity to heal. As a Trauma Mental Health Clinician, I am dedicated to helping individuals ages 13-65 years old navigate a variety of issues such as, trauma, anxiety, depression, stress/chronic stress, and overall self-concept (self-esteem, self-confidence, etc.). Additionally, I am experienced in supporting the following issues and/or areas of concern: LGBTQAI+ , ASD, I/DD, relationship, divorce, parenting, caregiving, identity, life and occupational satisfaction, and adoption.

I strive to intrinsically know and understand my clients. Together, we create, tailor, and personalize a treatment course that is truly individualized to promote healing.

Although I use a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities dependent on the need and/or presentation of symptoms, I primarily use a foundation of psychodynamic, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy treatments. Treatment modalities are applied using a strengths-based environmental and ecological model that is person-centered with regard to cultural, ethnic, racial, social, and economic influences.

Empowering Road was established with the mission to provide quality care that discovers and explores the root of what ails, to empower and promote healing from within. Services at Empowering Road are guided by multi-cultural and multi-encompassing models of healing.
