About me
I am a Registered Sandplay Practitioner experienced in working with children, teens, and adults to find hope, healing, and wholeness.
I have been a professional counselor for 18 years and doing Sandplay for 8 years. My Sandplay credentials are through the Sandplay Therapists of America (STA - www.sandplay.org). Sandplay is a non-verbal, non-directive therapy. My approach to counseling is person-centered, depth therapy. I believe true healing and change goes deeper than thoughts. Individuals who have experienced various types of trauma and those struggling with ADHD, anxiety, and/or depression as well other mood and behavioral problems have found change they desired while doing Sandplay and counseling with me. I work with individuals and families to know and understand them and assist them in establishing realistic and achievable goals. I don't believe in cookie-cutter approaches or that "one size fits all" when it comes to mental health treatment. The therapy room is a free and protected space where people may talk about anything and feel safe working on whatever they need. Today is the day for you to begin your journey to healing.
