About me
I believe in the healing and transformational power of therapy. I am open to the uniqueness of each individual without judgment. Relationships are challenging and we can learn skills to improve communication, intimacy, respect and trust with those we love.
My work over 40 years with individuals, couples and families has shown that we have the ability to change ourselves, our relationships, our families and the world when we commit to learning and growing. I am open to the uniqueness of each individual without judgment. I have a background in spirituality and offer that as a resource for healing, if wanted and when appropriate. I believe that relationships are challenging and that we can learn skills to improve communication, intimacy, respect and trust with those we love.
I work with anyone from adolescence to twilight. I frequently address issues of anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, grief, sexuality, spirituality, whatever pain leads someone to seek change through therapy. I use a variety of approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Relational Therapy (Gottman), and Mindfulness.
I seek to share what I have learned on my life-journey with others in humility and with grace, believing that others may find peace in the painful places of their lives.
