About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in IL who works with adults 18+ years. I am experienced with a wide variety of clinical diagnoses and have worked with all ages across the lifespan. I utilize a non-judgmental approach while being respectful of personal values and beliefs. My treatment methods include: Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
My specialties are depression, anxiety, grief/loss/life transitions, self esteem, women's issues, nutrition, anger management and substance abuse recovery support.
I love serving people and engaging with them through the growth and discovery process. I also enjoy encouraging others to know and love themselves, follow their hearts, and overcome roadblocks. I am an accomplished professional with 15+ years of experience serving a diverse range of clients through several local community agencies and clinical mental health providers. I work with adults of all ages from 18+.
I made the decision to become a professional counselor while raising my family through the school of life experiences. I believe in lifelong learning and in the growth mindset. I am grateful for the opportunity to help others learn, change, and achieve goals. I believe in the human spirit to heal and transform. I am a mother, daughter, wife, sister, and older adult who has experienced numerous life transitions.
