About me
I create and hold sacred space for people and communities in which to take a breath, pause, reflect, and begin their healing journey
I began my journey as a counselor, 10 years ago beginning by volunteering with LGBTQIA-affirming crisis hotlines in the Southeast and creating LGBTQIA+ safe spaces on college campuses. I have worked in multiple areas of mental health including intensive outpatient, outpatient, residential, and crisis work, and with multiple mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, substance use disorder, eating disorders, probation parole, family, and couple’s therapy. While my work has focused primarily on the LGBTQIA community and BIPOC community, I find joy and purpose in working with many cultures, faith backgrounds, and communities.
