About me
Professional therapist and Certified Parent Educator experienced in helping adolescents, young adults and adults work through struggles with anxiety, grief, depression, betrayal, life transitions and other challenges.
Finding a therapist to open up to can feel daunting. I understand this challenge and am committed to earning the trust and meeting the needs of all clients I work with through a client-centered, solution-focused approach. While engaging with clients, I focus on the art of encouragement, communication, and connection to help them build the inner resolve needed to deal with past traumas and face current challenges. I seek to create a client-therapist relationship that is based on mutual respect. believe that no matter our age we all want to know that we belong, that our voice matters, and that we are viewed as capable in some area of our life. When we don’t feel these things, we can become anxious, stressed, unmotivated, or even depressed. In my work with tweens, teens and adults, I have helped clients develop a sense of connection, capability, courage and creativity while facing their issues with anxiety, depression, life transitions, ADHD-related stress, trauma, relationship issues, peer relationships, college and career counseling, parenting challenges, school issues, grief, and anger management.
