Grief and Loss Therapy combined with Pastoral Counseling. My work is actually with all loss and grief-loss of a job, a relationship, a home, friendship. Since loss and grief are not mental health issues, but spiritual and emotional ones, I also provide spiritual counseling, as needed and requested. Loss of any kind creates a deep sadness, and this sadness does not need fixing. It needs being listened to. Supported. Very few therapists have deep grief and loss training . I want to help you if I can
I'm an ordained nondenomonational pastor, animal chaplain, Justice of the Peace and Credentialed Loss and Grief Counselor. My work has been recognized by the Washington Post, People Magazine, The Seattle Times, London Podcast, Comcast's Newsmakers, Boston Globe, and many other media. I work one-on-one, by phone, but also have a monthly Support and Healing Circle that meets by Zoom
My approach is very eclectic. I listen deeply. I never try to fix anything. I will work with colors and physical responses-where you feel emotions. I try to limit session to no more than three, unless the situation really warrants it. You are the expert in your needs and how you feel and what you want to feel and believe. Not I. Feel free to email or call me for a brief chat about how we might work together. Thanks!
