About me
I am an adult therapist who can guide you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery. Life can be overwhelming at times and having a supportive person to help you navigate it can be life changing. I have 25 years of clinical experience and am passionate about helping people. I have had a career in mental health and medical social work since 1999 and have been working at Kaiser Permanente for over 20 years. Currently I work in psychiatry triage, lead a group and have a private practice.
My style is warm, compassionate and empathic. I am a perceptive listener who will be attentive to your needs, nonjudgemental and authentic. I will help you realize your interpersonal goals and support you to reach them. I use various psychotherapy methods (cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, strength based) and collaborative treatment starting where you are at. Meditation, affirmations, guided imagery and breath work are all practices I believe can be helpful to you.
