About me
I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor serving Orange County, CA specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD-related challenges, Anxiety, Social Skills, and Dating & Relationship Coaching.
Finding the right person to walk through therapy with can be incredibly overwhelming. I am so glad you made it to my page! Whether you are someone seeking support with building relationships and connecting with peers, someone struggling with anxiety and overcoming a challenging transition, or someone simply needing a safe space to talk about life’s difficulties; you’re in the right place.
My name is Rebecca Washington and I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) serving Orange County. I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults with Autism and co-occurring disorders, as well as those struggling with Anxiety, Depression, Social Skills, and ADHD-related challenges. I understand the challenges that can occur when graduating from services or transitioning from one space to another and feeling overwhelmed with what comes next.
I use a blended, client-centered approach, pulling from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Based Therapy, Mindfulness, and Relationship Development Intervention. I am a Certified PEERS (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills) Provider trained by the Semel Institute for Neuroscience at UCLA, and enjoy social skills and dating coaching alongside a mental health focus.
