About me
My focus in on Trauma and Attachment, including CPTSD, dissociative disorders and personality disorders. I additionally work with eating disorders, anxiety, addiction and depression, which can also relate to trauma and adaptive attempts at survival.
I work holistically to meet my clients where they are at. I take a very relational approach to therapy, as I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation to the work we do together. I am trained in sensorimotor psychotherapy (somatic work, that incorporates the mind, body, and emotions), which I find can support a deeper understanding and healing process, as it includes our nervous system and implicit information that we may not be able to cognitively access. I can also incorporate parts work, to support a deeper understanding of the different and at times conflicting parts of self.
