As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I work with couples and individuals. I am able to work with children ten years and older. My practice areas are relationship issues, life transitions, trauma, personal guilt and shame, stress, codependency, avoidance behaviors, self-esteem, and personality disorders.
Do you find yourself in a pattern of ineffective/unproductive behaviors? My main goal as a therapist is to help clients create change and create their version of a life worth living. It is imperative to treat all areas of who we are as a person including not only mental health concerns but also physical and spiritual health. Often an individual experiences weakness in one or all of these areas which can lead to an overall decrease in wellness. Clinically, my approach is from a cognitive behavioral (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) perspective. From these frameworks, we can identify maladaptive behavior cycles and change them to skillful approaches to bring about progression in your life.
Outside of the office, I like to be outside. You can find me mountain biking, skiing, or running. Most of that time you will find me with my family out on an adventure. If you have questions about the therapeutic process or just want more information in general, call our office or email.
