About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling Associate and National Certified Counselor. I dedicate my life to working with individuals and couples who are looking to make changes, reconnect, and feel better.
I approach counseling using a mixture of techniques pulled mainly from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy. I respect clients as the experts of their own experiences and believe in working collaboratively with them to help them navigate their own unique path to their happiest and most fulfilled self. To aid clients in doing so, I carefully curates my approach with each client to ensure that my approach aligns with each client’s specific needs. I am passionate about creating a safe and welcoming environment for all. I provide LGBTQIA+ affirming care and strive to continually educate myself and advocate for social justice and equity for all.
I have experience working with adults in both college and substance abuse treatment settings. I have worked with clients with a wide array of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, grief, life transitions, disordered eating, identity and sexuality exploration, interpersonal struggles, and more. Along with my passion for working with individual clients, I feel passionate about working with couples. I believe that the attachments that couples share provide them with a safe-haven from the outside world and its stressors. Strains on such attachments can be distressing and can lead to such distress manifesting in other important aspects of life. I look forward to helping couples to reconnect and rebuild their relationships so that they are able to once again reap the benefits of their relationships’ safe havens.
I am currently offering both in-person and virtual sessions. Out-of-Network insurance filing available curtesy of Awakenings Center.
