I am an experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is dedicated to helping people with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, Perinatal mood disorders, and life transitions.

My name is Paola Kasenetz, a BIPOC Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor, DBT-C, EMDR -Trained, Perinatal Mental Health Provider-trained, and ADHD-Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), Certified Clinical Supervisor in Florida. I earned my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University in 2008 and my undergraduate degree in Women Studies from Brooklyn College in 2000.

When working with my clients, my role is as an active listener and help you utilize the skills you already have or have yet to discover you have. I do this by using person-centered, DBT, EMDR, holistic, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I tailor my approach to your needs while respecting your cultural identity and lifestyle. I would describe my style as warm and supportive and ready to assist you in taking on and overcoming your challenges.
