About me
Heart Bloom Therapy is a private practice that focuses on evidence-based psychotherapies for depression, anxiety, trauma, and insomnia. Common issues include generalized anxiety, illness anxiety, chronic pain, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, posttraumatic stress, insomnia, and specific phobias. The most common therapy approaches within my practice include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-based therapies, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems Therapy. I provide mainly individual therapy for adults and adolescents. I also offer parent coaching for parents of kids and adult kid who are LGBTQ+, especially with gender questioning or transitioning. I can provide teletherapy to people who live in Colorado, and in states that participate in PSYPACT, the interstate psychologist license. Some of the states in PSYPACT are: AZ, AL, FL, KY, KS, MO, NE, NV, OH, OK, PA, TX, WY, UT, WA, WI, and ID.
Dr. Brody has specialty training from the University of Pennsylvania Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety in Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. Dr. Brody integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, Mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems informed therapy into her approach. She uses these evidence-based psychotherapies to help her clients to overcome depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-worth issues, stress, and insomnia. Dr. Brody is warm, compassionate, genuine, and loves to connect with people to help them connect with their deep inner values and wisdom.
