About me
The guiding principle the practice focuses on is a client-centered approach that addresses what the client perceives as an impairment or barrier to successful functional living. Finally, we believe that every human life has an innate desire to maintain somewhat of a psychological homeostasis between the domains of the body, soul and spirit. Consequently, to that end, we help facilitate that balance.
Greetings, I'm Ollis Carver, licensed by the Board of Behavorial Sciences in California as Professional Clinical Counselor. My Undergraduate Degree with a double major in Bible-Theology & Counseling/Psychology was proudly earned at the prestigious William Jessup University, Rochlin, CA in 2007. Both Masters, in Addiction Counseling and Professional Clinical Counseling were earned in 2012, 2014 respectively at the distinguished Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, AZ. My Practicum was completed at The House of Acts, a Dual-Diagnosed Alcohol & Drug Addiction Social Model Residency in Vallejo for both Men and Women ex-offender populations. My clinical Intern hours were earned at John Muir Behavioral & Psychiatric Health Hospital in the Adult, Adolescent and Chemical Dependency Units. As the CEO and principal therapist for over ten years, the aim and mission of Made Whole Counseling Services has been to improve the mental health of those members of our community who suffer with mental health challenges and would benefit from the quality care and compassion our practice provides. I have been licensed as a Protestant Clergy since 2004, ordained as a Deacon since 1999.
