About me
I walk alongside couples and individual adults in processing grief and loss, relationship dilemmas, and life transitions.
Do you feel like things will never get better? Does your world currently feel upside down? Are you unsure of what to do next? That can be a confusing, painful, dark, and lonely place. You do not have to weather the storm alone. It is my privilege to brave the waves with you and to hold hope for you until you can hold it on your own.
Time with you is sacred and it is important to me that you enter into a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported. I strongly align with a person-centered approach to therapy, wherein the therapy relationship is collaborative. We will work together to set and work toward your goals. My therapeutic perspective also relies heavily on family systems, which considers your whole family dynamic and how it has shaped you. As a first-generation American, I am especially sensitive to the complexities of multicultural existence. Additionally, if you would like to include your faith perspective in therapy, I am able to incorporate faith as little or as much as you desire. I have earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University, and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology with a certificate in Latin American Studies and Global Studies Certification from Georgia Gwinnett College.
My fervent belief is that my role as a therapist is to provide a tranquil space in which to nurture hope. It is my desire that your time with me will be an opportunity to exhale any heaviness that you are holding and inhale hope for the future. I strongly believe that you have the potential for a brighter tomorrow.
