About me
I am an experienced Clinician who is dedicated to creating a safe space for you to be vulnerable, grow emotionally, and reach your goals.
In my 13 years of practice, I have focused on creating an eclectic toolbox of skills geared towards helping clients achieve their emotional goals while feeling safe enough to allow themselves to be vulnerable and grow. While I specialize in treating trauma and women's issues, I am also well versed in addressing depression, anxiety, panic, bipolar disorder, substance use and other forms of chronic mental illness. My training started at Temple University's Social Work Program where I did my undergraduate work. After that, I went on to study Counseling from the prestigious Alvernia University in Reading , PA. My time in training prepared me for a career in both community mental health and now private practice. I offer an evidence based approach consisting of skills based in EMDR, DBT, Psycho education, CBT, Mindfulness, Attachment, and Motivational Interviewing. In early sessions we will focus on building an effective and healthy therapeutic alliance. As we move forward I will incorporate the mind, nervous system, and body as I provide education on how stress impacts the whole person. Through identifying your core stressors we will be able to develop a plan for addressing symptoms past and present. It is an honor to join you on your journey to healing, actualization, and self empowerment.
