About me
I am a lifelong learner and licensed professional counselor with not only education, but life experiences after raising a child with obsessive compulsive disorder and Tourette's Syndrome. I have worked with individuals dealing with depression, panic attacks and anxiety, anger, and learning and physical disabilities.
I desire to come alongside those dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, and anger. I have experienced rigorous training to help wives deal with their betrayal trauma they have felt from their husband who has sexual addictions. I also work with the partner who is involved in sexual addiction and help them locate a support group and begin recovery from the sexual addictions. I have recently been trained to work with both the partners in relational communications known as Early Recovery Couple Empathy Model. This teaches the sexually addicted partner how to be a container for the betrayed partners hurt and anger. It is very helpful in both partners healing process to learn to communicate with greater effectiveness.
I have also been trained in EMDR and want to help those who have experienced trauma from childhood or recent traumas from on the job experiences. I look forward to working with you to teach you the tools to cope and potentially heal from your struggles.
