About me
I am a licensed mental health counselor in Massachusetts and Hawaii and a registered expressive arts therapist with the Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB). I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including mood disorders (depression, anxiety, bi-polar), eating disorders and body image, self-esteem, career challenges, and grief and loss. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
My counseling style is warm, authentic, and engaging. I focus on treating people with respect, sensitivity, and compassion while addressing issues of diversity. I maintain a person-centered, strengths-based approach utilizing cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and narrative counseling. I believe in the healing power of art and can incorporate creative activities into counseling sessions. My primary interest is in empowering women and girls to find their voice, accept their bodies, and reclaim their lives. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
