About me
With over 14 yrs providing psychotherapy to adults, children and groups, I am dedicated to helping people feel and do better, to live their best life.
I have worked in outpatient clinics, schools, and skilled nursing facilities. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Purdue University and a Masters Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Counseling and Aging from the University of Albany. I provide a trauma-informed/focused approach as needed, recognizing that most often the diagnoses we use simply provide a label for how life experiences have effected us. I employ a holistic, integrative, humanistic, psychodynamic approach--individualized to each person according to their needs, goals, and concerns. I foster a non-judgmental, nurturing, collaborative relationship in therapy that is intended to help people foster that elsewhere in their lives and relationships.
Previous experience included human services as well as environmental/animal/land/protection and law enforcement.
