About me
I am a Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) trained therapist and believe your mind, body, and spirit are integral in your overall health and wellbeing. I have a certification in Integrative Holistic Mental Health to address these components with my clients to facilitate the therapy journey to reach optimal goals.
I began in private practice in the Auto No-Fault industry working with trauma clients from auto accidents. Prior to that I worked in family systems with hospice for a decade. It was in hospice that I realized how important addressing the whole person is with the mind, body, spirit connection as an individual transitions through end of life. I received my degree from Wayne State University graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Masters of Social Work. I am fully Licensed in the state of Michigan. I have also received a certification in Integrative Holistic Mental Health (CMHIMP). I believe your environment, diet, and lifestyle play an integral role in your overall mental health. I enjoy working with individual from middle school to the geriatric populations. I am open to in-person sessions as well as telehealth, I let the individual decide with their comfort level and scheduling. I am open to an introductory session for 15-30 minutes to get to know me, as I recognize this is a trust relationship and you should spend some time interviewing your therapist and make sure it is a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you, and I know making that first step is a big one.
