About me
I am an experienced licensed professional counselor dedicated to helping you work through any challenges you may be having with anxiety, depression, marital issues, parenting, anger, personality disorder and sexual issues. We will work together as a team to help you learn new coping skills and to be a better you all around.
Do you feel you are living your best life? Are you struggling to find your balance in life and improve your physical, mental, or spiritual self? I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate dedicated to and passionate about working with individuals to help them learn useful tools, skills, and strategies to help bring wellness, stability, and resiliency in their lives. My educational background consists of a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Master of Social Work, and Educational Specialist in Counselor Education from the University of South Carolina.
I strongly believe counseling should be a collaborative process and that it takes both time and commitment from both parties involved. Each client is unique and their individual circumstances, wishes, or concerns during counseling will not be disregarded, undervalued, or discriminated against. Let me help you heal, grow, and gain more balance and wellness in your life.
My approach towards therapy incorporates a holistic and empowering approach based on each client’s unique needs. Clients are the experts regarding their own lives and I offer a supportive and safe environment to help them achieve their goals and explore growth and change. I provide both individual and group counseling for adolescents and adults incorporating aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy and brief solution-focused therapy. I have experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, depression, self-esteem issues, managing life’s transitions, and relationship issues. I am familiar with the military lifestyle and embrace working with a diverse clientele. I look forward to working together to support the changes and goals you want to achieve in your life.
